Gwinnett College was founded in 1976 as a secretarial school. Today, we offer associate degree and diploma programs in medical assisting, medical office administration, paralegal studies, accounting, massage therapy, business, and personal training. We have day and night classes and campuses in Atlanta and Sandy Springs.

In 1998, Lisa McLario joined our instructor team, teaching in the general education areas. She taught both at community colleges and career schools in Arizona and Michigan before coming to Georgia. In 2004, after having gone from a part-time to full-time instructor, Ms. McLario was asked to take over as Placement Director. As Placement Director, she was able to increase Gwinnett College’s presence in the community and to increase the number of extern sites available to our externs. Then, in 2008, Ms. McLario was asked to step in as Director of Education after Mr. Weaver’s retirement. She continues to build a strong instructor staff along with her ongoing administrative responsibilities related to the daily running of the school. Ms. McLario is responsible for the oversight of all academic programs and faculty performance. Ms. McLario holds a BA in Secondary Business Education from the University of Arizona. She has taught in community college and career school settings in Arizona and Michigan before coming to Georgia. She has been with Gwinnett College for 15 years in positions as instructor, Placement Director, and Director of Education.
Mr. Davidson first joined LTT Enterprises in 1985 where he started his education career teaching accounting. Shortly thereafter, he transitioned into a role in financial aid and has spent the last 30 years helping students in financial aid. In the last 30 years, he has worked not only for LTT, but also for what is now Kaplan Higher Education. Mr. Davidson has a Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Southern University and a Master's in Information Technology from Boston University.
